During the six years that I lived on my own after leaving the abusive relationship, I had to work through many demons and fears. I had to face many of them at night (nightmares that never went away).I never used to sleep with the light off at all, I couldn’t.
Part of my #healing #journey included song writing. Personally, I believe God was speaking to me and encouraging me. The #songs were uplifting as I wasn’t feeling uplifted most times. But the more I sang the songs the more I felt uplifted and felt an intoxication of unexplainable #joy and kind of #peace
God also used people to sow seeds into my life.
Pastor Chinyama Kangombe encouraged me to listen to a lot of #gospelsongs and that has helped me till today.
Pastor Timothy Serugga out of the blue told me to write songs down, then, I was like “what songs” and here we are today!
